Event Update:

Due to anticipated inclement weather, all event activities are moving indoors to the Phoenix Zoo’s Stone House Pavilion and C.W. & Modene Neely Education and Event Center. Due to the change in venue a few scheduled activities have also been changed. See below to view an updated event program.

Party Safari is the Valley’s wildest family adventure and the rain will not dampen the experience. With unique destinations featuring games and activities, along with amazing animal encounters, delicious food and beverage sampling, live music and entertainment, food trucks and more, Party Safari is an event not to be missed!

A fundraiser benefiting the animals at the Phoenix Zoo

Get ready to enjoy exclusive animal encounters, family-friendly food and beverage sampling, live music and entertainment, food trucks, green activities and much more, all while supporting the animals at the non-profit Phoenix Zoo! Party Safari is one of the most entertaining fundraisers in the Valley!

VIP guests will have access to the Party Safari VIP area, which includes seating, exclusive animal encounters and a dessert bar. Plus, two beverage tickets per adult (beer and wine).

Food and Beverage

Party Safari guests will be able to enjoy kid-friendly fare and tasty beverages throughout the event!

  • Food and non-alcoholic beverage samples will be provided from more than 15 local food and beverage purveyors.
  • Complimentary soda and water will be available throughout the event.
  • Full meals will also be available for sale at various food trucks.
  • A cash bar will be available for beer and wine. Guests must be 21 years of age or older with a valid ID to purchase/consume alcoholic beverages.

Fun activities, animal encounters, games, learning opportunities and more will be found at multiple destinations located throughout the event!

Bloomin’ Zoo – Supported by Rousseau Farming Company
Did you know that plants, herbs and flowers are important to caring for the animals at the Zoo? Meet with members of the Zoo’s Horticulture team and have an exciting hands-on experience learning about bugs and “browse.”

  • Visit Wiggles Worm Farm to dig for worms during an interpretation of worm, soil and garden connections.
  • Play a game to match the animal to their favorite browse while learning more about the plants Zoo animals like to eat.

Movin’ and Groovin’ with Live Animals!
Learn about how some of nature’s most unusual creatures are movin’ and groovin’. With up-close and interactive animal experiences, guests will see how some  animals move, adapt to their environments and even play!

Keepin’ It Green – Supported by Coca-Cola
Go green and learn how conservation can be fun through composting, recycling and species preservation.

Night Camp – Supported by JoEllen and Phil Doornbos
Jump like a mountain lion and slither like a snake. Join the Night Camp team as we try our best at becoming amazing animal athletes!   There will be five activity stations, each involving a different animal adaptation.

The Old West
Howdy Partners! Welcome to the Old West where horses are the mode of transportation, animals are a plenty and the sounds of country music can be heard on the farm.

  • Practice your lassoing skills
  • Say “howdy” to real cowboys and cowgirls.

Wild and Crafty Adventures – Supported by Barry and Jean Bingham
Get those creative juices flowing with fun crafts that provide an important educational message. See how your hand compares to an Andean bear’s paw, make beautiful works of art and help make enrichment boxes for Zoo animals.

WILD Science! – Supported by Sagicor Life Insurance Company
Enjoy an interactive science experience and learn about the techniques and tools used by scientists at the Zoo and in the Wild. With scientific demonstrations and experiments throughout the night, kids and parents will experience first-hand what it’s like to be a wildlife scientist. From biomimicry to animal tracking, explore the scientific world, animal style!
