Leapin’ Lizards! The rare Komodo dragon has taken up residence at ZooLights. To celebrate the opening of the new Land of the Dragons exhibit, a new lighted Komodo scene will debut at ZooLights this year.

When the sun goes down and the animals go to sleep, the Phoenix Zoo magically transforms into one of the largest holiday lighting events in the southwest with 2.5 million lights and more than 500 custom-made animal and nature light sculptures.

The lights of ZooLights will be unplugged soon, so don’t miss the largest zoo light show in the United States and the largest show in the Valley!

  • 3 MILLION lights at last count!!
  • “Music in Motion” dancing tree show: new video, music and LED energy-saving lights
  • Jengo returns for his 6th year at ZooLights, presented by Cardon Children’s Medical Center
  • Horse-drawn wagon rides, carousel and camel rides
