Walk in the Wild
The 2012 Walk in the Wild welcomed more than 1, 600 participants in its fourth year. Participants strutted, prowled and ran their way through a 5K course that took full advantage of all the beauty the Phoenix Zoo has to offer. As guests completed the route, they enjoyed fresh fruit compliments of the Arizona Farm Bureau and cheese sticks from the Arizona Milk Producers, along with their goodie bags. Guests were encouraged to stay at the Zoo for a day of family fun including a viewing opportunity of the Zoo’s Sumatran tiger, Hadiah, who received piñatas as part of BE (Behavioral Enrichment).
