Experience the wonder of 4-D at the Phoenix Zoo’s new 4-D Theater, the first of its kind in the Valley! Each show will make you feel fully immersed in a truly magical way utilizing smells, water, wind and other various in theater effects.

Monday – Thursday: 9:20 a.m. – Last show starts at 6:40 p.m.
Friday – Sunday: 9:20 a.m. – Last show starts at 4:40 p.m.
Shows run at 20 minutes and 40 minutes of every hour and last approximately 10 – 15 minutes.
A 4-D Theater ticket is included in the Zoo’s Total Experience Ticket and Value Ticket packages, or can be purchased individually. Total Experience and Value Ticket passes are one visit per person. Visit our Hours & Rates page for more information on ticket packages.
Children 2 and under are free. Children under 7 years must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Happy Feet 4-D Experience
Put on your dancing shoes and boogie with Mumble in Happy Feet 4-D Experience. Journey to Antarctica to meet a lively colony of Emperor Penguins faced with a diminishing food supply. Mumble sets out on an adventure to appeal to the better nature of humans and tries to reason with them to stop stealing the fish. Using courage and bravery, the banished Mumble soon realizes that his toe-tapping talent isn’t a burden, but a gift to be treasured—and his dancing feet may ultimately save his endangered colony! Featured in digital 3-D and brought to life with 4-D multi-sensory effects, this is an immersive experience for the whole family to enjoy.

Wild Survivors: Animals in 4-D
In this all-new 4-D experience, Wild Survivors: Animals in 4-D takes a never-before-seen look at the ingenious tac-tics animals have developed to survive and thrive in a danger-filled world. This 12-minute 4-D experience cap-tures jaw-dropping sequences in digital 3-D with added special effects that brings you right into the action.
