Monkey Village

Imagine yourself walking through the rainforest; you hear the chatter of monkeys and the rustling of leaves in the trees next to you. Then all of a sudden you see a monkey leap out of the tree and run across the vine right in front of you.

You can have an experience like this at the Phoenix Zoo as Monkey Village takes you right inside the habitat of the Zoo's Squirrel monkeys. As you walk along the pathway monkeys will be peaking through the trees beside you or walking on ropes above your head.

It's a unique, fun experience for everyone (even the monkeys!). You'll find this 10, 000 square foot exhibit on the Tropics Trail. The exhibit does close during really rainy weather but the monkeys can always be seen from the platform outside.
