The weather may be cooling off, but the fun is heating up at the Phoenix Zoo. Join us for a celebration of all things fall with cool crafts, fun activities, and opportunities to learn from our very own Phoenix Zoo staff!

Art sales

Migratory bird game

  • Guests will be able to learn about migrating birds in this fun, interactive game led by our Learning & Engagement department.

Make your own windsock

Popsicle stick puppets

Coloring station

Lasso Toss

  • Practice your “roping” skills with a hula hoop lasso

Sheep shearing activity

  • Mimic sheep shearing with this interactive activity

 FREE face painting

Candy Corn Races  |  10:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m.

  • Compete to complete the course while balancing candy corn on wooden spoons

Sack Races  |  9:30 & 11:30 a.m.

Keeper Chats and Demonstrations  |  11 a.m. (11:15 a.m. for hoof trimming demo.  |  Noon for sheep shearing demo)

  • Enjoy keeper chats about farm animals and watch a sheep shearing demo and a hoof trimming!

Horticulture chat  |  10 a.m. Sunday only

  • Learn about what our horticulture team does and ways to grow your own food at home

Release worms in our Zoo garden  |  9:15 a.m. & 1 p.m.
