Every animal at the zoo has a story
Some are part of
critical conservation efforts, some are part of a Species
Survival Plan, some are rescued from illegal trafficking
by state and federal agencies while others may leave
their family group as part of growing up and establishing
independence. No matter the story, each of these
scenarios involve animals spending time in a safe and secure holding facility. That’s where you come in—we need your help to build
a state-of-the-art quarantine and holding facility at
the Phoenix Zoo.
